JICA surveys feasibility of Binh Duong’s northern water supply project

Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem has just had a working session with a delegation of the Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA), led by Masatomo Toyoda, a high-ranking consultant of JICA, about the water supply project in the northern region of Binh Duong.

The project has a total investment capital of US$300mln with the capacity of 1 million cubic meters per day from Phuoc Hoa reservoir to serve the province’s northern districts, including Ben Cat, Tan Uyen…

At the working session, Mr.Masatomo Toyoda spoke highly of Binh Duong’s efforts in implementation of the project to improve the quality of water in the southern district of the province from JICA’s ODA loan. After surveying and researching the feasibility of the water supply project in the northern region of Binh Duong, the delegation will make further steps for implementing the project…

Speaking at the working session, Mr.Liem applauded JICA’s support to Binh Duong’s northern water supply project while saying that provincial People’s Committee always creates favorable conditions for JICA’s consulting delegation to soon fulfill its task to make a feasible premise for the project.
