On the morning of May 17, Tan Uyen city held a ceremony to launch the 2024 “Tree-planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho” in Tan Vinh Hiep ward.

At the launching ceremony, leaders and people of Tan Uyen city planted 458 trees, equivalent to an area of ​​1.1 hectares on public land in Tan Vinh Hiep ward’s Tan Hoa quarter.

It is known that this year, Tan Uyen city launched the growing of 1,964 trees, corresponding to an area of ​​4.72 hectares. After the launching ceremony, the city continues calling on each person and each family to plant 1 to 2 trees, contributing to the comprehensive and sustainable development of Tan Uyen, creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful urban environment.

*On the same morning, the People's Committee of North Tan Uyen district held a ceremony to launch the 2024 “Tree-planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho” and responded to the "World Environment Day" in Tan Lap commune. After the launching ceremony, the units in the district planted 134 rosewood trees at the Center for Culture, Sports - Community Learning in Tap Lap commune.

After the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of provincial Military Command planted hundreds of green trees, contributing to protecting natural resources, protecting the environment and combating climate change.

*On the morning of May 17, Bau Bang district’s People's Committee held a ceremony to launch the 2024 “Tree-planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho”.

After the launching ceremony, leaders of the district and Youth Union members participated in planting 62 trees to create shade. As many as 634 trees were also planted in communes and towns of the district.

It is known that Becamex IDC will also organize the growing of 60,000 trees in Bau Bang Industrial - Urban Park in 2024.

*Early May 17, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee held a ceremony to launch the 2024 “Tree-planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho”. During the program, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee offered 300 trees to Phu Giao district’s Youth Union from a source of green trees allocated by provincial Forest Protection Department in 2024.

On this occasion, Phu Giao district’s Youth Union coordinated with the trade union local of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development-Binh Duong provincial branch to donate 80 trees to Nguyen Trai Secondary School in Phu Giao district to carry out a youth work worth VND 15 million. After the ceremony, delegates and Youth Union members planted trees on DH514 street to carry out a work on "Youth tree road following Uncle Ho's teachings".
