Joint conference in preparation for the first and second session of the 10th tenure Binh Duong provincial People’s Council

In the morning of June 1, the Standing Committee of Binh Duong provincial People's Council in collaboration with the provincial People's Committee and the Standing Board of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee held a joint conference to agree on the time, content and agenda of the first and second meetings of the 10^th tenure provincial People's Council.

Attending the conference was Mr. Vo Van Minh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member cum Head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization and Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of provincial Party Committee cum Standing Deputy Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

The first meeting of the 10th provincial People's Council is scheduled to take place on June 30. The meeting will hear the provincial Election Commission report on the election results of the provincial People's Council and report on the results of confirmation of the status of the 10^th tenure provincial People's Council deputies for 2021-2026. The meeting also listens to the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee report on the synthesis of opinions and recommendations of voters at meetings with candidates for the provincial People's Council. At the same time, the meeting will consider and elect the titles of the provincial People's Council, provincial People's Committee, and Judge of the provincial People's Court, consider and approve the number of members, the composition of the committees of the provincial People's Council in 2021-2026 tenure and the organization of regular meetings of the provincial People's Council in 2021.

The second session, scheduled to take place at the end of July 2021, will consider and approve 24 reports, 1 notice, 13 submissions, 9 verification reports and 13 draft resolutions.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vo Van Minh asked relevant departments and agencies to carefully prepare contents for the first and second sessions of the 10th Provincial People's Council.
