Local Customs’ budget collection surges over 13% in July

Binh Duong Customs said that as of the end of July, budget collection and payment at the Customs showed remarkable results with VND657bil, a 13.88% rise from the same period last year.

However, irrecoverable debt collection was a barrier. As of July 31, the irrecoverable debt collection reached only VND56.97bil, accounting for 0.74% from its goal of VND7,700bil.

According to Binh Duong Customs, the irrecoverable debts were mainly from dissolved and bankrupt companies. The Customs reported the situation to the general department of Customs and the Finance Ministry.
