Local foreign work reaches high results

On Jan. 27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held an online conference on local foreign work 2014 with the participation of Vo Van Minh, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of some departments and agencies in Binh Duong side. In the past year, localities spurred foreign operation as planned. Many important foreign activities were launched and reached positive results.

In terms of foreign politics, 53 cooperation agreements at local level were signed and over 150 MoUs were inked with foreign organizations and enterprises.

Localities continued to strengthen foreign economic work, contributing to accelerate export while foreign cultural work was launched strongly and won many results with 4 cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO.

Work on border and territory was also implemented well and localities seriously launched implementation of inked agreements on borders with China, Laos and Cambodia.
