Local Veterinary Bureau well controls disease epidemics

On Feb. 10, Binh Duong provincial Veterinary Bureau held a summing up conference on its operation 2014 and set out orientations and tasks for 2015 and the 2015 congress for staff with the participation of Mai Van Hiep, vice head of Veterinary Bureau under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In the past year, the provincial Veterinary Bureau carried out instructions on implementing support policies of free vaccinations of disease epidemics on poultry and cattle for breeders. In addition, the local veterinary sector successfully controlled disease epidemics in the locality as well as made greater efforts to inspect breeding, quarantine, poultry and cattle slaughtering and food hygiene and safety.

In 2015, the bureau will focus on vaccinating on poultry and cattle at 100% of breeding facilities and so on. On this occasion, 6 collectives and 30 individuals were honored for their contributions to the local sector of agricultural and rural development.
