Management of medical waste in hospitals to be boosted

Binh Duong Provincial People's Commitee just issued Document No. 1266/UBND-VX regarding the boosting of medical waste management in province. Accordingly, Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee Chair designated Department of Health to coordinate with related sectors to inspect the management of medical wastes to protect the environment by enforcing strict punishment against administrative violation regarding environment protection at medical establishments; to consult with Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee on allocation of budget for treatment of the wastes so that the management is ensured by Decision No. 1788/ QD-TTg of the government demanding the thorough treatment planning.

Concurrently, it is demanded that medical establishments should allocate human force and treat the wastes to protect the environment while improving staff training.
