The Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade organized a market-day on “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” at Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company’s Cultural Center in Phu Giao district’s Phuoc Hoa commune from September 20 to 22 in accordance with the province’s programs on trade promotion and “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”.

The market-day absorbed 12 enterprises with 36 pavilions. On the opening night of the market-day, 30 local poor households were presented gifts from participating enterprises. Despite unfavorable weather, the market-day lured hundreds of visitors for shopping, lifting participating enterprises’ revenue up around VND300mln.

This is the 9th market-day of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” organized by the Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information this year. One of their new features is to be organized within 3 nights at enterprises’ requirement, instead of 2 nights. Noticeably, the center has been supported from the national program on trade promotion to organize additional 3 market-days of “bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”.
