Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) just issued official document No. 4524/LDTBXH-TDTL on application of minimum wage. Accordingly, from the year 2012 on, State-own limited liability companies of one member are allowed to select the minimum wage in accordance with Decree No. 70/2011/ND-CP, Circular No. 23/2011/TT-BLDTBXH and Circular No. 27/2010/TT-BLDTBXH guiding management of employment, salary, wage, and bonus. The selection of minimum wage can be higher than the general minimum wage baseline under conditions as follows:- State Budget fully paid;- Having profits and estimated profits not lower than the allocated profits of previous year (except for cases of State involvement causing the profits to be decreased);- The average increment of salary should be lower than the average increment of labor capacity.Reported by M.Chau – Translated by Vi Bao
