More than 2,000 youth members to participate in Unionists’ Day

Di An town Youth Union organized the “Unionists’ Day” attracting more than 2,000 youth members in the town. This event occurred vigorously with many meaningful joyful activities.

The “Unionists’ Day” in Di An town was really a festive day attracting a large number of youngsters including Youth Unionists, Young Pioneers, youth members, young workers, and children. The day had appropriate activities for each participant.

The day started with a series of activity for young persons to show talents through contests of cooking, sports, mini football, slow cycling, sack jumping, tugging, and folks dance, creating an exciting atmosphere among youth members. This playground was also a place to exchange and learn experiences between Youth organizations.

At the event, talk show “Learning to be a useful person” was actually practical to young people. Besides, the day had activities of lower-price selling of essential goods, free health check-up and medication for workers having difficult circumstances.

Ms. Tran Thi Nga, a member of Binh Thang ward’s lodging house, said: “The Unionists’ Day was very cheerful and helpful. We took part in many activities, especially talks and discussions. I hope there will be more programs like this for migrant workers”.  

Colorful and lively was the painting contest “Voluntary footprint” for pupils. Every painting expressed young spirit moving forward and following the tradition of seniors.  

Additionally, the 84^th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union foundation took place solemnly, generating excitement and encouragement to local youth. In particular, on this occasion, municipal Youth Union admitted 85 new members to Youth Union, commended “Flower of March” title to 84 excellent young persons. Di An town Youth Union celebrated birthday party for 30 youth members that were born in March.

The day upheld the pride of municipal youth members in glorious tradition of the Union, and enhanced performing of youth voluntary movements.
