Over the past days, sport grounds under My Phuoc Industrial Park in Ben Cat district became attractive destinations for young workers. More than 2,000 young workers and thousands of fans, who are workers of factories in the district, competed in sport tournaments under the 4th My Phuoc Industrial Park Games 2011 (MPIP Games).

The 4th MPIP Games 2011 lured numerous participants and fans. Le Tuan Dung from Becamex ACC Company joining in an athletic competition, said “I’ve joined in all 4 games. The 4th MPIP Games is larger than previous games. Joining in the MPIP Games is a good chance to practice health and exchange with colleagues”.

Aside from traditional sport events, the organizing board held folk sport events of tug of war, stilt walking and so on. The events lured hundreds of participants and fans.

Together with amateur athletes, Binh Duong provincial Cycling Team-based some professional ones of Nguyen Thuy Dung, Cao Thuy Trang… attended sport events against their forte.

As a national athlete winning a bronze medal at the Asian Young Cycling Tournament, Nguyen Thuy Dung of Binh Duong Water Supply Company, said “The games helps me meet and exchange with colleagues. This is a very important significance for me”.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung from Hung Phuoc Ltd. joining in 3 events of tug of war, shot put and high jump, said “this is a good chance for me to create a unity with colleagues”.

The 4th MPIP Games 2011 lured over 2,500 athletes from local and foreign businesses under operation at Ben Cat district. The athletes joined in 17 events competing in 55 medal sets. The games’ total expense is at over VND1.5bil.
