Vietnam has issued and implemented policies on poverty alleviation and new rural programmes focusing on farmers but the country needs financial assistance and consultation from international organisations, including the WB, he said.
Rionald Silaban, WB’s country director in Indonesia, on behalf of the delegation, said the goal of the visit is to get opinions from the leaders of countries in the region to serve as a basis for planning the WB’s activities in the upcoming time.
The delegation spoke of socio-economic achievements Vietnam have achieved and said that it would work alongside with Vietnam in the sustainable development.
