National Directive Board of Covid-19 Pandemic Prevention carries out reality examination in Binh Duong

Early September 3, the National Directive Board of Covid-19 Pandemic Prevention led by Mr. Hoang Minh Duc, the Deputy Director of Preventive Medical Department of Ministry of Health, had a working session with Binh Duong Provincial Directive Board of Covid-19 Pandemic Prevention to conduct reality examination of entries, quarantine, and medical supervision of foreign specialists entering Vietnam.

At the working session, the delegation examined the management of entries and medical quarantine in accordance with decisions of Ministry of Health namely Decision 878 on guiding quarantine at medical facilities to prevent Covid-19 and Decision 1246 on guiding temporary medical quarantine at hotels to prevent Covid-19 with fees to be paid by the people in question. Aside from checking the implementation of regulations and guidance of Ministry of Health, the delegation checked up the health monitoring of specialist entering Vietnam for employment after fulfilling the required 14-day quarantine.

The delegation previously visited and examined Thuan An  City Medical Center, quarantine areas of Dai Nam Hotel and Saigon Stec Co. Ltd. at Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park II in Thu Dau Mot City.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Hoang Minh Duc informed that the management of preventive quarantine and concentrated quarantine at the enterprises’ residence have been well implemented in Binh Duong. Particularly, no case of in fection in the community is detected in Binh Duong, making it a great success of Covid-19 prevention in the province regarding the mobilization of the whole political system and all-level authorities to prevent the pandemic.
