Nearly 13,000 farmers in Ben Cat win “good farmer” title

Ben Cat town’s Farmers Association promoted the emulation movement of “Good farmer in production and business” among officials and members over the past time.

In the period of 2014-2016, the association and its branches mobilized officials and members to respond the emulation movement. They also actively disseminated the Party and State’s policies on agriculture, farmers and rural areas; organized trips to effective models, thereby creating changes in awareness of numerous officials and members.

As a result, there were nearly 13,000 members winning the title of “good farmer” at all levels or 82% of total. Among them, 229 were recognized as good farmers at provincial level; 1,791 at town level and 11,000 at grassroots level.
