According to the Department of Planning and Investment, from January 1st to January 15th, 2024, the province has attracted 297 newly registered businesses with a total capital of nearly 6,508 billion VND. Accordingly, the number of newly established businesses has increased by 62.3% and the capital has increased by 238.3% compared to the same period. Among them, the registered capital for new business is over 1,845 billion VND, and the increased capital is 4,821 billion VND.
As of now, the province has a total of 66,399 registered businesses with a registered capital of over 733,355 trillion VND. According to the action program implemented by the provincial Party Committee to carry out Resolution No. 5 of the 12th Central Committee on the development of private economy, continued innovation, and improved efficiency of state-owned enterprises, Binh Duong aims to have 80,000 businesses by the end of 2025. Currently, the province has already achieved over 83% of the target.
