North Tan Uyen reaches stability in socio-economic development

On October 21, Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee had a working meeting with North Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee about the local socio-economic development, national defence-security over the past nine months and major tasks for the rest of the year.

Reportedly, the district’s value of industrial and home industrial production over the past nine months obtained more than VND2.01trillion, up 11.62% compared to last year’s same period or 76.12% of the year’s plan. The district’s total retail value of commodities and services was more than VND1.35trillion, up 12.74% over last year’s same period or 76.98% of the year’s plan. The district also reached VND683.5billion in State budget collection, or 96% of the year’s estimate, up 145% compared to last year’s same period; more than VND1.4trillion in argo-forestry production value, up 3.82% against last year’s same period or 68.7% of the year’s plan.

In the remaining three months of the year, the district has also set 11 main tasks plus 3 suggestions with a focus on making planning and expansion for the district’s administrative center; boosting the implementation of projects on traffic, historical relics, cultural works…

Concluding the working session, Mr.Dung spoke highly of achievements on socio-economic development, national security-defense done by the district over the past time. The district now has a good infrastructure system with more investors and the lives of locals have also been improved. For investment projects upholding their efficiency, the district needs to research on combination between the local policies and real needs while considering and soon handling relevant suggestions.
