Online contest on “Joining hands in Covid-19 prevention and combat” launched

Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education has just issued the Official Letter No. 496-CV/BTGTU on the implementation of the multiple-choice contest "Joining hands in Covid-19 prevention and control" on the VCNet social network at the link: htttp:// vcnet. vn/contstcovid.

Contestants are all Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad. Each week, the organizing board of the contest gives a multiple-choice test (5 questions) with contents on the Party and State’s guidelines, policies in Covid-19 prevention and control; basic knowledge of Covid-19 prevention and control; motivation for frontline anti-Covid-19 forces; legal provisions in Covid-19 prevention and control.

The contest takes place from October 13, 2021 to January 26, 2022. The weekly prize structure includes: 1 first prize worth VND 2million; 2 second prizes worth VND1.5million each; 3 third prizes worth VND1million each. It is organized by the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Training.

For the contest to be successful, provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education has proposed localities and units in the province to launch, deploy and direct cadres, Party members and people from all strata to actively participate in the contest. The organization of the contest aims to contribute to raising cadres, Party members and people’s self-awareness in Covid-19 prevention-control, safe and flexibility adaptation to the new context.
