Outstanding athletes, coaches honored

Late Jan.28, provincial Sports-Physical Training Center held a ceremony to honor outstanding athletes and coaches in 2015’s fourth quarter.

The province’s sports teams in the quarter attended 15 national tournaments and 2 international ones. Noticeably, Nguyen Van Kien won a gold medal at the seventh WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships. Sepha also grasped a silver medal in the men’s 75kg- bodybuilding category at the 2015 Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships. For national tournaments, athletes of the province also pocketed various medals, including 1 gold medal and 3 bronze medals at the 2015 National Top Players Chinese Chess Championships, 1 gold medal and 2 bronze medals at the 2015 National Dance Sport Championships and Open Dance Sport Cup…

On this occasion, the province’s outstanding athletes and coaches during the quarter were also awarded more than VND970mln in bonus.
