Outstanding collectives, individuals in youth work honored

On May 24, provincial Youth Federation held a conference to review the mid-term implementation of the Resolution of the 7th provincial Youth Federation Congress for the 2019-2024 tenure. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

During the past half tenure, voluntary activities for social welfare, “Voluntary Winter”, "Voluntary spring", "Border March" programs were deployed among provincial Youth Federation and its branches. They organized more than 1,900 voluntary activities. They also paid more attention to setting up SOS squads, first-aid squads, clubs connecting young workers… and giving development orientations for them.  

In addition, through models and activities, more than 4,100 gifts worth more than VND4billion were given for disadvantaged children, policy beneficiary families and soldiers on duty on islands and in border areas. Along with that, the whole association mobilized organizations and individuals to donate 98 charity houses, 47 dream rooms worth more than VND 6 billion to young people with difficult circumstances; considered and awarded 293 support packages worth VND 437.5 million from provincial Support Fund for young people with difficult circumstances…

At the conference, provincial Youth Federation implemented many solutions and discussed operational contents and modes to take care of and orient youngsters for the rest of the tenure. On this occasion, 16 collectives and 35 individuals were honored for their excellent performance in the past half tenure (photo).
