During the National Day holiday, passenger transport units on bus routes and fixed passenger routes operated under the directives of provincial Department of Transport and the established plan, ensuring sufficient vehicles and safe, uninterrupted transportation.

Passengers are on a bus to return home for the National Day holiday at Binh Duong Coach Station

Reportedly, during the National Day holiday, the number of passengers traveling to the Mekong Delta region increased by more than 50% compared to normal days. Thanks to proactive measures like increasing trips and arranging standby vehicles, transport units ensured that passengers were safely transported home and back to Binh Duong after the holiday. Huynh Van Trong, Director of Binh Duong Bus Station stated that during the National Day holiday, province-based bus stations well coordinated with relevant authorities to manage operations during peak days and hours with high passenger volumes, ensuring that no passengers were left at the stations or on the routes…During the holiday, drivers and staff adhered to registered routes, schedules, collected fares under regulations and provided attentive services to passengers.

Additionally, provincial Department of Transport reported that during the National Day holiday, the department’s hotline did not receive any complaints regarding passenger transport activities.

With the proactive coordination of relevant authorities and transport units in implementing directives from higher levels and the passenger service plan for the National Day holiday, passenger transport and people’s travelling were carried out smoothly and safely, with no incidents causing traffic safety violations…
