Phu Giao district Red Cross in connection to donate over VND 42 million for 2 cases in hardship

On November 11, the Red Cross of Phu Giao district, in collaboration with Ms. Duong Thi Thao, visited and provided emergency support to 2 particularly difficult cases in An Thai commune.

Accordingly, the two cases supported in this round were Nguyen Van Thao, born in 1991, and Le Van Binh, born in 1964. During the visit, the members of the delegation inquired about their health conditions and handed over the support amount of VND 42.1 million. The district Red Cross provided VND 1 million for each case while the remaining VND 40.1 million was raised through the collective efforts of kind-hearted individuals via Ms. Thao Duong's personal Facebook account.

Ms. Duong Thi Thao is one of the active philanthropists who have been actively involved in humanitarian activities of the Red Cross of Phu Giao district. In addition to her personal contributions, she also mobilizes many kind-hearted individuals to join forces in support, especially for those in particularly difficult circumstances and in need of assistance.
