Phu Giao District to enhance the prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic

In the afternoon of August 17, Phu Giao District People’s Committee organized a meeting of directive board of Covid-19 prevention and control.

As reported by Phu Giao District Health Center, the prevention and control of Covid-19 in Phu Giao District have been drastically implemented to ensure response to any incurrence. The district authority has followed directive documents regarding the prevention and control of Covid-19. The isolation of two Chinese immigrants through Moc Bai port on August 14 has been well implemented with test for negative of Covid-19 at stage 1. All local citizens returning from Da Nang have been closely monitored by guidance of Ministry of Health. The information dissemination has been continual and diversified.

Concluding the session, Mr. Doan Van Dong, the Chairman of Phu Giao District People’s Committee cum Head of Directive Commission of Covid-19 prevention and control, demanded all level authorities to follow directive documents and enhance information dissemination on frequent hand wash and reduced gathering and contacts in the face of Covid-19 developments. Local police are required to check and monitor any immigration. The concentrated isolation center of 100 beds has been established at Dong Sen Farm at An Binh Commune.
