Pilot construction of smart village achieves positive results

According to People's Committee of Bach Dang commune (Tan Uyen city), the project to build a model new rural commune for the period 2021-2025 combined with the pilot construction of a smart village in the commune has initially achieved positive results, changing the appearance of new rural areas, improving the quality of people's lives.

The pilot of smart village construction in Bach Dang commune is carried out on the basis of a set of criteria for model new rural communes and model residential areas, linking technological achievements with new rural construction content.  Namely, to focus on reviewing and investing in improving the socio-economic infrastructure system, prioritizing the application of new technology, developing the transportation system associated with improving the landscape and living environment for the people.

The commune invested in LED lighting systems on three roads and Bach Dang bridge; installed 52 cameras at 38 locations and 18 public wifi locations; developing a green tree system on 37 roads... In addition, Bach Dang commune is implementing classification of domestic waste at source, making IMO indigenous microorganisms; launched emulation to build new rural households that meet "green, clean, beautiful, bright" standards; The rate of households using clean, hygienic water reached 100%, of which the rate of households using clean water reached 98.74%.
