Update: 25-10-2010 | 00:00:00

Di An district’s Red Cross Society has launched a charity program of providing 200 free meals monthly for poor patients at the district’s General Hospital among its affiliates.

The above meals together with 320 free vegetarian meals donated by Dinh Van Lich’s family in Tay B hamlet have contributed to helping poor patients at the hospital reduce costs during the treatment process. They are monthly delivered on the 1st, 14th, 15th and 30th days of lunar calendar with the number of 300 meals per day.

Since early this year, the district’s Red Cross Society and its affiliates have mobilized donors to provide 1,000 free meals worth VND8,000 each for poor patients.
