Project on organizing 2nd national amateur singing festival and plan on marking 20th anniversary of province’s reestablishment approved

Early Mar.17, provincial Steering Board of great holidays held a meeting to approve a project on organizing the 2^nd National Amateur Singing Festival and a plan on marking the 20^th anniversary of the province’s reestablishment.

Attending the event were Pham Van Canh (photo), Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Le Huu Phuoc, Head of provincial Propaganda-Education Commission and Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Accordingly, the festival will take place from April 8 to 12, 2017 in TDM city’s Phu Hoa ward with main activities such as special art performances in a mangosteen-shaped stage, southern gastronomy, seminar on southern amateur singing, program honoring composers, artists…

Concluding the meeting, Mr.Canh unanimously approved the theme of this year’s national amateur singing festival “Southern amateur singing-Preservation and development” and the plan marking the 20^th anniversary of the province’s reestablishment. He also required relevant agencies to soon implement plans under the project.
