On November 13 and 14, Binh Duong province will coordinate with the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Central Economic Commission to organize the second National Forum for Digital Economic and Social Development, with the theme of “Innovative digital applications in industries and fields to develop digital economy and improve labor productivity”.
As planned, the forum includes a plenary session expected to be co-chaired by leaders of the Government, the Central Economic Commission and the Ministry of Information and Communications with about 500 delegates; 3 thematic seminars with each session of about 150 delegates. In the framework of the forum, there will be exhibitions on technology applications for the development of the digital economy and digital society in such fields as manufacturing, e-commerce, banking, services, finance, safety, network security.
The forum aims at soon realizing policies and goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party and the Politburo’s Resolution No. 52-NQ-TW dated September 27, 2019 and the National Strategy on developing digital economy and digital society until 2025, with a vision to 2030 under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 411/QD/TTg dated March 31, 2022 of, determining than the development of the digital economy and digital society is Vietnam's strategic focus in the coming period and sets very high and specific goals.
