Proposing to further give incentives to housing projects for low-income people

The Ministry of Construction has just issued a document requiring the Government PM to further implement preferential policies for the housing projects for workers and low-income people.

 According to the Ministry of Construction, the entire country now has 24 housing projects for workers at industrial parks with total investment capital of VND2.6trillion and total area of 753,000 sq.m. Once completed, they will supply accommodation for around 125,000 workers. 

 Meanwhile, there are also 37 housing projects for low-income people with total investment capital of around VND3.6trillion, providing accommodation for around 64,000 low-income people.

 The Ministry of Construction has also asked for the Ministry of Finance to further research, send relevant suggestions and reports to the Government, so that the Government will submit them to the National Assembly to supplement preferential policies on value-added tax, corporate income tax for the housing projects for workers at industrial parks and low-income people living in urban areas…
