The number of foreign employees working at industrial parks (Ips) under provincial Ips Management Board has so far amounted to 3,966, up 2 compared to the corresponding period of last year. Among them, there are 3,441 foreign employees with valid work permits and 521 illegally employed ones.

Since early this year, the province has granted work permits to 957 foreigners, up 4.47% compared to the corresponding period of last year. The figure has brought the total number of foreign experts with work permits to 3,065 or 89% of total number of foreign experts belonging to those who are eligible for work permit. The province has also implemented work permit extension for 377 foreigners, up 42.26% compared to the corresponding period of last year and regranted work permits to 199 foreigners because of their change of passport number.
