On Jan. 21, the provincial department of Agriculture and Rural Development reviewed its operation and announced new rural communes in 2014 and launched plans for 2015.
In the past year, despite difficulties, local agricultural production reached some important goals. The work on preventing and fighting forest fire was ensured while the irrigation work was managed and exploited effectively, assuring supply of water for production.
Agricultural production forms were developed stably, of which farm economy played a crucial role. In the period of 2011-2015, as many as 30 communes launched implementation of new rural building, lifting total new rural communes up to 11.
The conference set out 13 solutions to carry out in 2015. Accordingly, the unit will strive to increase 4% in agro-forestry and fishery products, reach 98% of rate of clean water users. In addition, the conference participants set out concrete plans to launch the project of urban agriculture development in the Southern area and breeding planning in the Northern area.
