Province’s industrial production value up 11.%

Thanks to policies for laborers satisfactorily applied, the rate of laborers returning to work at province-based companies after the traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival was high in the first two months of 2014.

Province-based companies also saw a growth in the number of export orders, making the local industrial production value get good results. In the first two months of the year, the province’s industrial production value was estimated at nearly VND30trillion, up 11.3% compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Of these, the domestic investment sector secured more than VND10trillion, up 10.3% while the foreign investment sector gained nearly VND20trillion, up 11.8%. Some products achieved a high growth compared to the same period of last year. For example, semi-conductors increased by 21.5%, plastic products by 20.6%, paper by 14.7%...

In February, provincial Department of Industry and Trade also announced a project adjusting the plan on the province’s industrial development till 2020 and orientations towards 2015; implemented the 2014 industrial promotion program and trade promotion program for provincial industries’ associations, helping enterprises upgrade necessary information for their production and business activities.
