Provincial businesses’ bloc Youth Union to be creative, integrate, and develop together with businesses

On 6^th Aug, Provincial businesses’ bloc Youth Union will convene their congress of the 2017-2022 tenure. Promoting pioneering spirit and creativity, in recent years, the youth of provincial businesses’ bloc have tried their best to learn, practice and implement effectively the "4 most" emulation movement. At the same time, the work of youth uniting and gathering, supporting young people in setting themselves up, startup ... have also brought practical effects.

Creative young people

During the 2012-2017 tenure, youth activities and movements of provincial businesses’ bloc have gained good changes in terms of content and mode of operation, bringing new features in leadership, directing activities, achieving high results. Voluntary activities for socio-economic development and international integration were strengthened through the effective implementation of the "Best 4" emulation movement among youth members through specific tasks, such as undertaking youth works associated with production and business activities of the unit.

Especially, the "Young Creativity" movement has been widely deployed, encouraged young ones to develop innovations and ideas to increase productivity, quality and efficiency in production. Namely, the total number of registered initiatives in the last term of the bloc was over 200, of which more than 100 initiatives were implemented effectively, benefiting enterprises with more than VND 10 billion (Youth Union of Binh Duong Electricity Company, Youth Union of Lottery Company, Youth Union of Materials and Construction Company, Youth Union of Becamex IDC, Youth Union of Post Office, Youth Union of Vietcombank Binh Duong, BIDV Binh Duong...).

In addition, Provincial businesses’ bloc Youth Union also organized talks and seminars such as "Youth works bring benefits to businesses"; Workshop on "Business youth with creative activities for the cause of business development", the program "Talk about industrial working style among young workers". In addition, youth unions had many forms of propaganda on guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State on international economic integration; encouraged and supported young ones to learn foreign languages ​​and IT, equipped them with necessary knowledge and skills in the process of international and regional economic integration, contributing to the improvement of their knowledge and skills.

Uniting and gathering the youth

Mr. Huynh Thanh Tra, Secretary of Provincial businesses’ bloc Youth Union, said that the implementation of "Uniting and gathering young workers of businesses’ bloc" project period 2011-2015 and period 2016-2020 had improved the quality of youth activities, and utilized resources in approaching enterprises outside the State sector to establish youth unions and branches. The Standing Committee of Provincial businesses’ bloc Youth Union has paid special attention to the establishment, maintenance and strengthening of the quality, quantity and efficiency of clubs.

A highlight in uniting and gathering young workers of businesses’ bloc was the successful organization of programs to take care of material and spiritual life, improve health quality of disadvantaged young workers, such as offering compassionate houses to disadvantaged young workers, legal consultancy, traffic safety propaganda, weekend playground, young workers’ week, entertainment programs for young workers, sports, young workers’ singing contest, talent search contest, health consultation, giving bus tickets and gifts to disadvantaged young workers in Lunar New Year, etc.

These showed the interest of Youth Union in caring for, educating and orienting young workers’ thought and lifestyle. Specifically, in the last tenure, Youth Union presented 25 compassionate houses and 53 love houses and houses of great unity; organized 5 Tet programs, 5 programs of young workers’ week, 20 weekend playgrounds; over 60 free music shows, more than 300 free tickets, more than 6,000 gifts with total cost over VND5 billion...

With the theme: "The youth of businesses’ bloc aspire - create - integrate for business development, for Binh Duong civilization, prosperity and beautifulness, modern", in 2017-2022, Provincial businesses’ bloc Youth Union continue to set out many changes in operation in accordance with the actual situation. Youth Union will also effectively carry out movements, activities, works to promote pioneering spirit, volunteerism and creativity of members in the implementation of difficult tasks, urgent works at units and enterprises; join hands to build up a civilized, prosperous, beautiful and modern Binh Duong.

At present, the total number of union members under Provincial businesses’ bloc Youth Union is 5,480, the number of youth members is 4,722; total number of young workers in industrial zones and clusters is about 254,800.
