Provincial Chair calls for good measures for socio-economic development in 3 last months of the year

Early September 24, Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung host the 57th session to approve socio-economic status in the 9 months of the year and major duties for the last 3 months of 2013.In 9 months, Provincial People’s Committee has concentrated on Resolution No. 01 of the government on major measures to command socio-economic development plan and State’s budget estimation in 2013, on the Resolution No. 02 of the government on measures to remove obstacles for business, production, market support, bad debt resolution, and other resolutions of the Party Council on socio-economic development, national defense and security in effective, harmonious, and actual manner.As a result, the economy eyed relatively high growth with total GDP of 10.8%. Industrial production value is estimated at VND 108,144 billion or 12.8% of increment. Total retail of commodities and revenue of services is estimated at VND 63,755 billion or 22.2% of increment. Exportation turnover is estimated at USD 9.841 billion or 15.6% of increment. Importation turnover is estimated at USD 7.865 billion. Domestic investment reaches additional VND 12,131 billion. Foreign investment reaches USD 1.113 billion. Totally, 14,754 domestic enterprises are operating at accumulated capital of VND 115,170 billion and 2,184 investment projects at USD 18.5 billion.Capital construction in fields of health-care, eduction, and urban development have been harmoniously invested into. Social welfare has been assured together with higher quality of job creation and vocational training. Public health-care and policies for socially-privileged families have been in frequent attention. Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung called uponn departments, sectors, districts, towns, and Thu Dau Mot City to promote socio-economic development measures to remedy obstacles of production and business as well as drawbacks in leadership and management.
