Provincial Social Insurance Agency just held a meeting to sum up its activities in 2011 and launched plans for 2012.

In 2011, the sector has collected nearly VND 5,000 billion of insurance premium or 110% of the assigned amount from Vietnam Social Insurance. Of the amount collected, the sector has paid out over VND 1,000 billion to insured subjects.

Addressing the meeting, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee praised up achievements made and called for the local social insurance agency to fulfill the assignments in coordination with involved agencies and sectors while promoting communication and education in a bid of improving awareness towards social insurance.

On the occasion, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bach Lan, Deputy Director of Provincial Social Insurance Agency was honored by the third rank labor decoration while two other individuals and collectives were offered with merit certificate from the Prime Minister for the cause of social insurance. 44 individuals were awarded memorantos.
