Provincial Ex-Youth Volunteers Association opens 2nd congress

Early July 28, provincial Ex-Youth Volunteers Association grandly held its 2^nd congress for the 2015-2020 tenure. Attending the event were Tran Van Manh, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam Ex-Youth Volunteers Association; Tran Thanh Liem, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Public Relations Committee; representatives of sectors, mass organizations and 250 outstanding ex-youth volunteers in the province.

The conference approved a report on activities of the association in the last tenure; implemented a program of donating comrade houses, saving books to needy members and introduced the new executive board of the association, including 13 members.

Prior to that, many activities in celebration of the congress, including starting construction of a monument to 77 youth volunteers in Dau Tieng district’s Thanh An commune; building 37 comrade houses; presenting 52 saving books to needy members; dealing with 197 documents under the Decision 40…, were also organized.

Addressing the congress, Mr.Liem praised provincial Ex-Youth Volunteers Association for its achievements in the last tenure; simultaneously wanted that the association would improve its operational quality, especially pay attention to activities of traditional education among young generations…
