Over the past time, provincial Former Volunteer Youths ‘Association boosted a task of gathering former volunteer youths, thereby constantly strengthening its organization, well realizing policies and organizing many practical activities taking care of members…

In the 2015-2020 tenure, provincial Former Volunteer Youths ‘Association dealt with policies for 406 members, bringing the total number of members enjoying policies to 700. The association and its branches also organized many practical movements for members. Under the movement of “For sentiment to comrade”, they mobilized around VND1.5billion for their “Sentiment to comrade” fund, offering help to needy members in economic development…

Provincial Former Volunteer Youths’Association in collaboration with provincial Police Agency’s Youth Union and units hands over a symbolic board of “comrade” house to a member in need of housing

In addition, provincial Former Volunteer Youths’Association and its branches mobilized businesses and donors to build 50 “comrade” houses, upgrade 10 houses and donate 50 saving books worth hundreds of millions of dong; offer Tet gifts and financial support to nearly 500 sisters with more than VND500million. They also provided free medical check-ups, medicine for more than 500 members and organized more than 30 “return-to-the root” trips, visiting martyrs ‘cemeteries, historical relic sites…

Such these apart, provincial Former Volunteer Youths ‘Association developed the movement of “Raising piggy bank” among female former volunteer youths. This is a great policy of leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Former Volunteer Youths ‘Association, arousing Vietnamese women’s fine virtues in building up happy families. On the International Women’s Day and Vietnam Women’s Day, the association and its branches opened piggybanks, raising money for women with difficult circumstances.

Tran Chi Cuong, Chairman of provincial Former Volunteer Youths ‘Association said that seeing the benefit of establishing the “Sentiment to comrade” fund, female members of the association have actively promoted the movement of “raising piggybank”, offering help to needy members and getting involved in social charity activities…

“In the coming time, the association will further solve policies for former volunteer youths; intensify emulation movements; promote “sentiment to comrade” activities. Members of the association will also strive to rise up and always set bright examples for young generations to study and follow”, Mr.Cuong added.
