Provincial Journalists’Association reviews emulation work in 2023, extends tasks for 2024

On the afternoon of January 25, provincial Journalists’ Association held a conference to summarize its emulation work in 2023, set out orientations and tasks for 2024. Le Huu Phuoc, Chairman of provincial Journalists’Association chaired the conference, in attendance of Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda-Education  Commission.

In 2023, the activities of provincial Journalists’Association continue being stable and more substantive. Mr. Phuoc said that in the coming time, the association will further organize classes on journalistic skills for members; hold the review and acceptance of high-quality journalistic works; publish special issues on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 and June 21; closely and regularly coordinate with press agencies in the province to well prepare conditions to participate in the 2024 National Press Festival…

Speaking at the conference, Mrs. Hanh spoke highly of the results done by provincial Journalists’ Association over the past time while encouraging members of association to improve high-quality journalistic works to further maintain and achieve higher achievements in national journalism awards. She also required the association to well organize a press get-together in early Lunar New Year 2024; organize the selection of works to participate in journalism awards; well organize annual press sessions; coordinate with state management agencies to build resources to further improve its operational quality...

On this occasion, provincial Journalists’ Association rewarded 12 individuals with achievements in its professional work and activities in 2023.
