Provincial leader receives new Lao Consul General

On the afternoon of April 4, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee gave a reception for newly-accredited Lao Consul General Phimpha Keomixay in HCM city.

Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee presents a gift to the new Lao Consul General Phimpha Keomixay in HCM city.

Ms.Phimpha Keomixay said that she will make efforts in promoting cooperation between Laos and localities in the southern region of Vietnam. She thanked provincial leaders for their continued support to Lao students who are studying in the province.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Hung wished her family a happy New Year festival and successes during her terms of office in Vietnam. Binh Duong is a locality getting friendship and cooperation with Laos in the fields of economy, culture and education. The province has also signed cooperation programs with Champasac province, thereby promoting bilateral cooperation.
