A meeting between provincial leaders and Japanese enterprises took place yesterday morning at Lucky Square Convention and Event Center in Binh Duong new city, which was chaired by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of provincial People’s Committee. Also attending the event were representatives of the local relevant agencies.

The province has so far granted licenses to 241 Japanese projects totaling US$5.13billion. Since early this year, Japanese enterprises have continued pouring additional US$116.3million into the province from 4 new projects and 9 existing ones.
At the meeting, representatives of relevant agencies acknowledged and sufficiently answered petitions by Japanese enterprises. Mr.Liem also suggested relevant agencies to consider and give answers in text in the soonest time for petitions not being answered at the meeting yet. They were also ordered to put forth proposals to solve petitions not falling within the competence of the local administration or report them to central agencies for consideration and settlement, facilitating Japanese enterprises’ development.
