Late September 23, provincial National Assembly (NA) delegation, led by Huynh Ngoc Dang-Deputy Head of provincial NA delegation had a working session with the Binh Duong branch of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) about the province’s banking and credit activities in the first 8 months of 2013.

Nguyen Phu Cuong, Deputy Director of the Binh Duong branch of the SBV said that in the first eight months of 2013, the branch took timely measures on credit and monetary under the Government’s Resolution 01 and Resolution 02, tightened control over credit activities in the province; reached VND77.394trillion in mobilized capital, up 5.6% and VND60.21trillion in total outstanding loan; actively extended the SBV’s Circular 11/2013/TT- NHNN giving guidelines for social housing loans under Resolution 02/NQ- CP with the VND30 trillion-credit package.

At the working session, the delegation paid attention to implementing the Circular No.11, dealing with bad debt ….Mr.Dang said that the working session helped the delegation get more information in order to answer voters’ queries and serve the 6th session of the 8th NA.
