On the afternoon of November 20, provincial School of Politics solemnly held a get-together to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023) and review its scientific research in 2023.
The get-together was attended by Dr. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Principal of provincial School of Politics; Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Commission for Propaganda and Education; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Assoc.Prof. - Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Director of the Academy of Politics Region II.
At the get-together, delegates reviewed the 41-year tradition of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. Over the past time, provincial School of Politics carried out its tasks and achieved many important results. Especially, in 2023, the school organized research, evaluated and accepted 18 grassroots-level scientific research projects. Accordingly, the Council for evaluation and acceptance of science and technology tasks at the grassroots level approved all 18 topics, 6 of which reached excellent evaluation or 33.33% of total.
Addressing the get-together, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Thao congratulated the school’s officials, lecturers, and staff over periods on the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day while requesting the school to further inherit and promote the tradition of continuous innovation and creativity in teaching and scientific research, improve training quality, contributing to building up provincial School of Politics with first-degree standards ahead of 2025 and second-degree standards ahead of 2030.
On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics awarded mementoes to two lecturers who made many contributions to the school. Provincial People's Committee also awarded the certificates of merit to 2 lecturers with achievements at the 2023 National Excellent Teacher Contest for Political Schools. In addition, provincial School of Politics honored many outstanding collectives and individuals in advisory work and grassroots-level scientific research activities in 2023.
