Public should not be subjective in Covid-19 prevention and control!

In recent days, streets across the province have got crowded with people when some localities have changed from the "red" zones to the "green" ones...Some checkpoints have also faced traffic congestion.  This is because the number of people travelling has increased while on-duty forces have still had to stop vehicles to check necessary documents under the regulations.

Specifically, on the morning of September 17, some checkpoints recorded a sudden increase in the number of vehicles on streets because many people mistakenly thought that after September 15, they were "free” from going out!". For these cases, the local functional forces explained and mobilized them to abide by rules on going out. When being explained, most people complied with these rules. In addition, some people freely left their places of residence to return to their hometowns to avoid the pandemic. To ensure Covid-19 prevention and control, the local functional forces mobilized these citizens to return to their places of residence.

According to functional agencies, if people really want to go back to their hometowns, they should register with competent authorities to be arranged under the plan. They should not be impatient’, leading to illegal acts.

The worrying fact is that there is information on social networks calling for people to freely return to their hometowns. It is thought that these behaviors need to be detected in time and handled seriously. In mid August, after hearing some incorrect information on social networks, many people freely returned to their hometowns by motorbikes. However, when going to checkpoints, they were asked to turn back by functional forces. At that time, many fell into a "difficult position" when they left their lodging rooms, so how were they when being unable to return to their hometowns? Getting this information, leaders of some localities directly met with these citizens, mobilized them to stay and arranged temporary accommodations for  them, aiming to ensure Covid-19 prevention and control.

Over the past few days, the local police forces also focused on calling for people not to follow solicitations on social networks, leading to illegal acts. As recommended by provincial Police Agency, this is false information. Provincial Police Agency has also called on people to stay calm, not follow solicitation on social networks, leading to wrongdoings, causing disorder, affecting the results of the local fight against the pandemic. Let's join hands, unite with the local authorities at levels to overcome current difficulties, repelling Covid-19 pandemic to be able to soon return life to the "new normal" state.
