Pupils prepare for national high school final exam

The 12^th graders will take the national high school final exam 2015 in early July. At present, teachers and pupils of high schools are busy to review lessons to prepare for the national final exam.

At Tan Phuoc Khanh high school in Tan Uyen town, the 12^th graders are busy to review taught knowledge. Teacher Nguyen Hoang Hung, headmaster of Tan Phuoc Khanh high school said that since the start of the second semester teachers have held reviews for the 12^th graders. These reviews will be lasted till June 20. In addition, teachers compose lesson plans relating skill knowledge.

Meanwhile, Di An town-based Nguyen An Ninh high school’s teachers are trying their best to enrich knowledge for the 12^th graders. Teacher Tran Thi Mai Huyen, Vietnamese literature teacher said that teachers manage to collect useful methods of essay writing for pupils.

In order to grasp knowledge capacity of pupils, many high schools hold tests on the Ministry of Education and Training’s requirements for examinees. At Le Loi high school in North Tan Uyen district, teachers held tests for the 12^th graders at least twice for essay subjects and three times for multiple-choice subjects.

Aside from teachers’ effort, parents also cooperate with teachers and high schools to help their children get high results in the upcoming national final exam. In addition, high schools in coordination with parents agree on learning time of pupils at school and at home to help them complete reviews.

As for the local education and training sector, Mai Long Nguyen, vice head of high school level division under the provincial department of Education and Training said that the department has over the past days organized visits to local high schools to inspect reviews for the 12^th graders. At present, the department has forwarded seminars to share experiences on review for examinees.

In the upcoming high school final exams, Binh Duong’s examinees will take the national exam at HCMC University of Medicine. Therefore, the local department of Education and Training steered high schools to monitor exam locations to instruct parents and examinees.

This is the first time the Ministry of Education and Training holds the national high school final exam, so both teachers and pupils have yet to know about difficult level of exam questions, however, effort of teachers and pupils in the province has showed their high determination.
