Raising support level for construction of great solidarity houses to VND 100 million per unit

Provincial People's Committee has just issued the Decision No. 1347/QD-UBND on the support level for construction and repair of “great unity” houses for the local poor households and near-poor ones.

Specifically, the expenditure to support new construction and repair of “great unity” houses is extracted from the local Fund for the Poor at all levels managed by the Fatherland Front Committee at the same level and implemented in accordance with current regulations. Accordingly, the level of financial support to build “great unity” houses is VND100million per unit (the old support level was VND 80 million per unit). In case of houses built on soft ground, the additional maximum support level is not more than VND20 million per unit. As for the funding for repair of “great unity” houses, depending on the actual situation of the local Fund for the Poor and the damaged condition of the house, there is a reasonable support level, but it is not more than VND 50 million per unit.
