Provincial People’s Committee promulgated Decision No 25/2013/QD-UBND dated September 19th 2013 in terms of collection, management and usage of toll for motorcycles in Binh Duong province.Accordingly, motorcycles having cylinder capacity up to 100cm3 have to pay a toll of VND50,000 per year, motorcycles having cylinder capacity over 100cm3 have to pay VND105,000 per year. Wards, towns are allowed to retain 10% of total collected toll to pay for collection arrangement expenditure. Communes are allowed to retain 20% of total collected toll. The remaining money amount has to be handed in to provincial Road restoring fund. People’s Committees at communes, wards, towns are delegators to collect toll for motorcycles of local organizations, households and individuals.Payment term: owners of motorcycles arisen before January 1st 2013 have to register, pay toll for 12 months; owners of motorcycles arisen from January 1st 2013 to June 30th have to pay toll for ½ year. The deadline for the payment is July 31st.
