On Sep 8th, in Hanoi, Ministry of Home Affairs held a national online conference to evaluate results of "The project implementation of completion, modernization of dossiers, maps of administrative boundaries, and construction of databases on administrative boundaries", referred to as Project 513, and arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units. Project 513 was approved by the Prime Minister at beginning of February 2012 and has been implemented until December 31, 2020. Over nearly 8 years, by the end of July 2020, Ministry of Home Affairs and Central ministries, branches proposed the Government issued 7 resolutions, finally resolved 15/16 areas of provincial administrative boundaries left by history, and determined management boundaries of sea and islands between 28 provincial administrative units, 129 district-level administrative units, and 610 commune-level administrative units...
Particularly in Binh Duong, in parallel with activities of Project 513, Binh Duong built and molded 416 new administrative boundaries, and established a database of 495 dossiers for 101 administrative units of 3 levels of province, district and commune.
