A breakthrough foundation

The National Highway No 13 of today has showed its efficiency, contributing to local socio-economic development and success of VISIP, My Phuoc 1,2,3 Ips and Bau Bang IP. The advantaged route has lightened the northern economy of Binh Duong province.

From the route’s success, many other localities have learnt experiences from the province and built many routes, contributing to increase quality of traffic system nationwide and serve for the national socio-economic development.

In Binh Duong, to cater for the upcoming development, after the National Highway 13, Becamex IDC has kept building other important work of My Phuoc-Tan Van route with the investment capital of over VND3,500bil. The route started in Aug. 7, 2009 is considered as a key road in serve for goods transport from Central Highlands, Southeastern region.

The 30km My Phuoc-Tan Van route will go from My Phuoc urban area to airports and international ports. The entire route will have 18 big overpasses and 4 crossroads. The route will include 6 lanes with the average speed of 100km/h. with 4 years of construction, the route will link trans-Asian route, Ho Chi Minh route with the Southern key economic zone.

Aside from My Phuoc-Tan Van route, to meet technical infrastructure development and stimulate economic growth and lure investors, Becamex IDC has kept building 3 district routes in Tan Uyen district. The routes include DT746, DT747B and DT742 with the total length of 57km and 6 lanes. The total capital of the 3 routes is at about VND4tril. As planned, the routes will go traffic by 2014.

Increasing overall development

If the routes are for economic development, contributing to investment attraction, national highway 13 elevated route will be a driving force to develop locality overall.

The elevated route will go from Vinh Binh Bridge in Thuan An town to Ben Cat district with the total length of 31km. The project will be started in 2012 and completed after 2 years of construction.

The project will contribute to local economic growth and change image of the province in the coming time.
