Significant activities for children on occasion of Int’l Children’s Day

Early June 1, TDM city’s Youth Union held a ceremony to launch the Action Month for Children 2018 under the theme of “For a safe and healthy life for children in the digital era”.

Accordingly, the city will focus on propaganda work to raise the local sectors, authorities and mass organziations’awareness and responsibility for children while well realizing the Child Law for Children and other regulations on child protection on the internet.

On the occasion of International Children’s Day, the city has extracted VND147million from State budget to donate gifts to children at public preschools and those who are the offspring of blind people and poor families.

*The same day, Bau Bang held a ceremony to launch the Action Month for Children 2018.

Accordingly, the district will organize many practical activities, comprising of boosting propaganda work on the Child Law, organizing a forum for children… during the Action Month for Children and the summer vocation 2018. On this occasion, the organizers offered gifts worth VND400,000 each to 250 pupils. Among the recipients, 50 with extremely difficult circumstances were presented additional VND500,000 each.

*Early June 1, North Tan Uyen district’s Cultural-Sports Center, Division of Education-Training and Youth Union held the 5^th North Tan Uyen “Arts Award” contest for children, with the participation of nearly 300 children.

*Thuan An town also held a delegation to visit and present gifts to orphan and disadvantaged children on the morning of May 31.

On this occasion, the town offered 702 gifts worth VND200,000 each to needy children and pupils at charity classes.
