Socio-economic recovery associated with Covid-19 prevention-control under new normal conditions

On the afternoon of September 30, Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda-Education Commission, Head of the Inspection Team No. 5 carried out an inspection tour on the implementation of provincial Party Standing Committee’s Directive No. 12-CT/TU dated September 14, 2021 in Ben Cat town.

Reportedly, the town implemented provincial Party Standing Committee’s Directive No. 12 on Covid-19 prevention-control and easing of social distancing measures after September 15, 2021 among communes, wards, grassroots Party committees and cells, gradually easing social distancing measures, not being subjective, impatient in Covid-19 prevention and control; strictly adhered to the motto of "Safety is to produce, production must be safe", was determined to protect achievements against the pandemic; quickly narrowed the “red zones”, “red spots”; expanded and firmly protected the "green zones", gradually recovering economy, creating jobs for laborers and ensuring social welfare. The town has also allowed enterprises under the "3 on-site", "1 road, 2 locations", "3 green" production models approved by competent authorities to work. For the exploitation and trading of rubber latex, repair, maintenance and construction of investment projects, works in the town, they are also allowed to reopen, but must ensure measures against the pandemic. The town has also allowed eateries to reopen, but only sell takeout food…

Through the inspection, Mrs. Hanh spoke highly of the efforts by the town in implementing the Directive No. 12 of provincial Party Standing Committee as well as the local Covid-19 prevention and control. She also noted that the town needs to effectively adjust and implement its plan on socio-economic recovery associated with Covid-19 prevention and control in the "new normal" state in accordance with the directions of the province and the local real situation. Besides, the town needs to proactively grasp and monitor public psychology after September 30, especially pay attention to employees’ thoughts; promptly solve social welfare issues in order to create consensus among people from all strata when the province implements new normal solutions.
