Solving difficulties to help enterprises resume production

“Until now, 100% of enterprises affected by the past May extremist acts have resumed their operation. The provincial administration will work with the Ministry of Finance to help enterprises resume production”, affirmed the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung in the past weekend.

100% of the affected enterprises resume production

 

Implementing support measures for the affected enterprises, the provincial People’s Committee said that obeying the Government, ministries and central agencies’ instructions, the local People’s Committee steers all level agencies to focus on helping the affected enterprises resume production. As a result, 100% of the affected enterprises resume and stabilize their production and the number of laborers returns companies and factories reaches more than 98%.

 

Overall, the lightly affected enterprises overcame and resumed production by their own. Meanwhile, the provincial administration solved demand on factory rent for the affected companies in difficulties of factory.

 

The provincial People’s Committee also said that as for damage insurance payment for the affected enterprises, the Ministry of Finance and the provincial People’s Committee jointly held programs to offer advance insurance money for the affected companies. As a result, 113 enterprises enjoyed advance insurance money worth VND114.7bil.

 

On June 18, the provincial People’s Committee announced support level and form as well as granted the 1st phase support decisions to 37 affected businesses. The support will be continued by many forms and include the subsequent phases. In terms of administration procedure issues, the local administration instructed functional agencies to execute rapidly, effectively these problems for the affected enterprises.

 

The provincial People’s Committee said that the affected enterprises’ production and business have been thus far stabilized while security and order have been ensured for investors, experts and laborers.

 

Solving obstacles for enterprises

 

At the working session with the affected enterprises in Vietnam-Singapore 1 Industrial Park on June 20, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung said that until now 100% of the affected enterprises return their operation, especially some enterprises suggest to be expanded production and business. All these petitions are timely considered by the provincial administration in a bid to facilitate investors’ order assurance and prestige maintenance.

 

The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung also noted that aside from insurance policies implemented by insurance companies, the local authority carried out some policies in line with the Government Prime Minister’s permission. Specifically, the local authority exempts, reduces and extends various kinds of tax, considers and solves land and infrastructure costs, including credit capital level and debts. In addition, the local administration asks functional agencies to help the affected enterprises. All of these good deeds are implemented timely and win high response from business community.

 

However, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung said that until now there remain some problems. The Government and provincial People’s Committee’s wish is to stabilize enterprises’ production and development. This is also investors’ wish for the sake of keeping prestige and completing orders with clients.
