On the evening of March 5, a spring concert took place at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Watanabe Nobuhiro, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh city.
At the concert
The program included famous and attractive symphonies, namely Franz von Suppe, CavalleriaRusticana by Pietro Mascagni, Bolero, Carmen, Die Moldau; music compositions of Japanese cartoons; "Rice drum" (Vietnamese folk song). These items were performed by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) with the conductor Honna Tetsuji. Contributing to the program, singer Pham Thu Ha performed 2 songs, namely "Song of hope" by musician Van Ky and "First Spring" by musician Van Cao.
It is known that Spring Concert was one of the Binh Duong New City Cultural Festival’s meaningful activities, aiming to create a space for the local people to enjoy the symphonic masterpieces of Vietnam and Japan. The program contributed to connection between Binh Duong and friends from all over the world. It was also an impressive cultural highlight, contributing to the success of the Binh Duong New City Culture Festival project.
